We have used coning technology since about 2008. It's changed the way that
we practice in a lot of ways. There's not a single implementation that we
don't utilize three dimensional technology for.
It's greatly enhanced our ability to diagnosis facial trauma, oral and
facial pathology, temperamedigular joint disorders. I use my scanner every
day and multiple times a day. We use and maintain an eye cap cone beam
scanner. It is an integral part of every aspect of care from diagnosis to
during surgery and after surgery to monitor for change. We use it in every
step of the patient encounter.
